HORNBY A4 CLASS LNER 'SIR RONALD MATTHEWS' LOCOMOTIVE (60001) (00 GUAGE) Due to ill health, I am reluctantly selling my collection of model trains together with rolling stock, a few buildings, track etc. This auction is for the Hornby 'Sir Ronald Matthews' Tender driven Locomotive (60001), (4-6-2) (00 guage), LNER garter blue livery. This locomotive is in an excellent condition. It has not been used by myself, just stored, but has been used in the past. PLEASE NOTE: the locomotive comes WITHOUT the Royal Doulton Plate (I purchased it without the plate) but it DOES come with a Certificate of Authentication, number 0786 of 3000. However, I believe the Certificate may only apply to the whole package i.e both the locomotive and the plate together. This is reflected in the Buy Now Price. The locomotive also does not come in its original box - it has only been placed in the accompanying box (which is a little worn and marked) by me to keep the locomotive protected. The instructions are also included as is the little driver and the air brake pipes which are loose in the styrofoam mould in which the train is encased. On posting, the item will be wrapped in bubble wrap to prevent damage. The item has been weighed for P&P purposes, however, if P&P has been overestimated, it will be refunded promptly.
