The specially prepared three vehicle model in this set is resplendent in the distinctive blue livery of the prototype and is justifiably named the " Blue Rapier" ( Hitachi Class 395) entered service during 2009. Both power and dummy cars have headlights that operate in the direction of travel. The track circuit fits easily on the 1600 x1280 mm MidiMat and by adding Hornby track packs and accessories can soon develop into a very effective model railway layout.
