Class 142-020,British Rail "Pacer" DMU- This class 142 "Pacer" Railbus is in the livery of the Tyne & Wear PTE,North East England. The model is in working order,having been run,tested and lubricated by myself on 21/04/11. This train was taken from a train set produced by Hornby some years ago,so it does not come packed in a "Pacer Specific" box,sorry. It is a model powered the traditional way-so no DCC chip is fitted and the train is powered by two motors,one in each vehicle. No through wiring is provided between the two vehicles,but electrical pickups are provided on all 4 axles. Overall,a nice example of an increasingly rare Hornby model. More Pacer models in various liveries appearing on my page soon-thanks for looking.
