This is a lovely example of the Hornby Dublo 3 rail model of 8F 48158, which has been in my collection for 50+ years and which has never been offered for sale before. The model is in excellent original condition and is I think outstanding in all respects. The locomotive has not been used recently or been on display but has been wrapped up in a box for many years. It has not been polished or cleaned for display. I have lightly oiled the working parts on the motor prior to testing. I have applied 12V power to the wheels and pick up and the motor works well at slow and fast speeds and is also very quiet. Please note that this model comes with a reproduction blue box and not the original. If you would like more photographs please ask.
