Offered for sale here is Horn by OO Gauge R2630 Rebuilt Scot locomotive named The Rifle Brigade with running number 46146 and finished in Briti sh Railways Brunswick Green Livery with l ate emblems and warning flash es, depicting a loco towards the end of steam . This locomotive was bought roughly a year ago as I didnt own a Scot at the time. I t was bought from a toy and train fair, originally as a R2630X locomotiv e. However, I was told by the per son on the stall that the decoder had been removed and replaced with a blanking plug, so that the model was now effectively DCC Ready and not fitted , which suited my layout - so please be aware of this be fore bi dding ! Since being in my possession, the locomotive has been run for approximately one hour, before being carefully put back in its box. Overall, the locomo tive is in an excellent condition with no noticeable defects or faul ts - it runs beautifully and has all buffers present. The reason for sale is that I recently purchased an Irish Mail set containing an Old Contemptibles locomotives , which was the model I was after all along as I have a photo of the real thing and wanted to replicate it. This locomotive would make a fine addition to any BR (LM R) layout , and certainly looks the part behind a rake of Bachmann Maroon Mk 1's.
