Hornby and Tri-ang 00 Scale – 5 Engines 0-4-0 tank Engines x 3 (2nr Triang and 1nr Hornby) Triang R150 4-6-0 LNER Apply Green 8509 Triang R356 4-6-2 Brunswick Green 34051 I am selling on all sortsof stuff for my father-in-law and this listing is for 3nr tank engines and 2 other larger locos all in a poor mechanical state and filthy in need of a big clean up. Great for spares or someone looking for a project. There are two Red Tri-ang tank engines that are that are in a non-working condition from what I can tell. No sign of life at all when put on a rolling road. To be fair I didn’t try much, maybe with the body off, a clean and dose of TLC they may spring to life. They are in one piece, no obvious bits missing or anything but very dusty, decoration is general poor. Great for spares, detailing projects, weathering or painting practice or making into static scenes on a railway. The 3 rd tank engine is an 0-4-0 Great Western engine in green. This engine after some encouragement ran OK on a rolling road for a good 10min in each direction. The odd smell of the engine and spark subsided after a few mins where it proved to run fine for what is a very old engine. It is in need of a very good clean and general TLC. The decoration is OK, its decals “GREAT WESTERN” with running number “101” are there in full and completely legible. read more
