I bought this at Brimfield many years ago. It originally had 12 unused bottles of Horsford's Acid Phosphate. T are 6 bottles left. Inside the wrap is a labeled bottle and adv. flyer and a corkscrew. These bottles will be sold later and I'll keep one. The box is in good shape. The top still has 2 slats and one is gone. Bottom is complete and good. It is 11-5/8 by 9 by 7 inches tall. I would date it to the 1890's. Made by Rumford Chemical Works, Providence R.I. per the bottle labels (maker of Rumford Baking Powder). Same stenciling on all 4 sides. ("Horsford's Acid Phosphate The Genuine"). A rare box compared to the usual Rumford Baking Powder box usually seen on ebay. I will list other items as the old storage boxes get unpacked.
Shipping is $8.29 or less parcel post in the USA, more elsew I combine shipping to save you money. No materials/handling charge, actual postage only. Check out my other auctions for other unusual antiques and collectibles.
