{hot}-> '74 DELFT BLUE PORCELEYNE FLES 5" TEA CANNISTER ITEM: Fantastic Porceleyne Fles tea caddy / canister or spice jar in the large square format, painted with the classical blue floral motif, created by Holland's most prestigious pottery, The Porcelain Bottle. This great item has a square bottom, with four panels of top-quality, handpainted floral artwork over the traditional crisp, white background. The lid is also in PERFECT condition, unlike so many of these fragile lids that are chipped or cracked. The bottom displays the Fles logo and the typical markings. SIZE: Almost 5" (12.5 cm) tall, with a 3-1/8" (8 cm) square base, with a 2" (5 cm) opening. DATE OF MANUFACTURE: CT = 1974. CONDITION: Excellent, with absolutely no repairs, chips, cracks, flakes, or flaws. T is only a small amount of crazing on this great cannister. The unglazed bottom shows little wear. Unless described , light spots on the pictures are from our photo lights, and swirls are fingerprints. PAINTER: J GE. whose initials cannot be attributed, painted this great piece!
