I bought this unique ring from a wonderful seller here on Ebay several months ago. The emerald is supposed to be Columbian and it has such a lovely grass green color! I do not know how old the piece is but I believe the setting is relatively new and it appears to be a custom piece. It is a very noticeable piece when worn and I do not mind keeping it, but I am trying to clean out the jewelry box a bit. It would make an excellent gift!! The setting is 18 kt white gold stamped 750 inside the band and it is in good condition. It would look even nicer with a polishing. There is a minor scratch inside the band but I am sure it would buff out. The emerald is approximately 1 carat (estimated in setting) and measures about 5 X 7 mm. The color and clarity are excellent in this natural emerald (some inclusions are present as in all emeralds) but the treatment methods used on the stone areunknown. The two side stones are pear shaped and I was told they are rhodolite garnets. They have a very nice sparkle and are a bright pink berry hue. The ring is a size 6. I am not a jeweler and I have described everything to the best of my ability. The jewelry that I list is not brand new and is being sold "as is". I have no idea if any enhancements or treatments were applied to the stones and I will not guarantee whether they have or they have not. I want read more
