This classic book recalling the Golden Age of hot rodding through the incomparable photography of Strother Mac Minn is now out of print. If you failed to get one of the 1000 numbered copies here's your chance! "Mac", the legendary automotive designer and Pebble Beach judge, knew his way around the car lots of Los Angeles and the dry lakes. Fortunately he recorded what he saw with his Leica. The resulting photos are simply among the very best covering the period just before and after World War II. Every serious hot rodder needs this in his library. This copy is one of a few unnumbered examples that is stamped "Authors Proof", making it more rare than those sold by Rodders Journal. The book is beautifully produced with embossed linen binding with inset photograph and sleeve.
