Offering on auction a Hotel Blatz china pitcher. "Hotel Blatz" beside a medalion with the initials "VB". Valentin Blatz owned Blatz beer which at one time was one of the three largest brewing companies in Milwaukee . The hotel opened in 1903 (I believe). See pic for Hotel. Marked "Cedric", "Mayer China", "Made for E.W. Morgan_____" the last letters did not make the bottom. Also, "Milwalkee, Wisconsin" 4" tall by 3 1/4" at the widest point. Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks or crazing. T are some flaws under the glaze of dots but these are factory not damage. A great example of hotel china for any collection. Combine auction to save shipping costs. Also note that the postage rates go up on Monday so you will have to calculate to postage after that time.
