During my nearly 40 year study of and research into Houdini I acquired literally hundreds of books for research and additional information. Many magicians are unaware of how much has been published about Houdini in books that were not entirely devoted to him. It is quite staggering. In addition to that many of the books in my research library covered topics relating directly to Houdini-Margery-Spiritualism-Judaism-locksmithing-fraud-escapes etc. All of this has to go before I head overseas and it is far too formidable to list individually so I am listing them in lots of five. All with no reserve and a low start bid of $19.95. Many of these books are impossible to find today, many are in mint condition and many with dust jackets. Any serious blemishes will be listed. So hire is the sixth batch:- ESP, SEERS AND PSYCHICS By Milbourne Christopher. First edition (1970) excellent condition except for faded spine. Tight binding. Many lengthy segments about Houdini. MY PSYCHIC ADVENTURES. By J. Malcolm Bird. First edition (1924). Malcolm Bird was the associate Editor of the Scientific American when the challenge that brought Margery to fame was made. He was on the Scientific American panel along with Houdini for the numerous Margery seances that were held. Malcolm Bird was a fervent believer and close associate of Conan Doyle.
