I am listing two, Denise Calla for House of Hatten, large, pieces today. Each is about 14" tall and in perfect condition. All design paint is like the day it was painted, and t are no hairline cracks of any sort, let alone breakage or repairs. Each was issued in 2000 and bears D. Calla attribution. They are wonderful as companion pieces as one is playing a horn while the other is doing a 'jig', but in deference to those buyers who may be interested in only one, I am splitting them. An engaging feature of these two is the free swinging (hung on an eye hook) pear at the tip of each of their hats. This was an artistic choice D. Calla made, I believe, over the more usual bell, and it really is charming. The painting and detail on the pieces is of course, legendary among collectors. The color pallette is a sage green with traditional red, green, gold and white This boy/elf is slightly under 14" tall. He has a wire belt with two metal stars at the waist. The belt is removable but all other accessories such as horn and satchel, are not removable as they are carved into the piece. Base is about 5" in diameter.
