A full tournament-sized Chess set, it features a 3.75" King with a 1.75" diameter base . The Chess pieces are hand carved by master artisans and crafted out of the highest grade woods. The Chess pieces are heavily weighted with luxurious billiard cloth base pads and a rich finish. The design of the Players Series Chess set has been inspired by the Jaques of London design from the late 1890s, a period widely regarded by Chess collectors as having the finest Staunton Chess Sets ever produced. The Players Series Chess set is ideal for those that are interested in a quality Chess set at a very affordable price.
