For your consideration is a House of Staunton "Timeless Series" Anderssen ebony and boxwood chess set with Kings measuring 3.5" in height and a 1 5/8" diameter base. Pawns are 1 3/4" in height. The listing is for the chess set only, there is no board or box. Also, there is no HOS paperwork. The set is in used condition and has some flaws, although many are minor in nature. The flaws: One ebony Queen has a small nick in its base. One Ebony Knight has a hardly noticeable hairline split in its base. The other ebony Knight has a base crack. One ebony Rook has a small nick in its turret. The other ebony Rook has a large chip to its base. One ebony Bishop has a hairline split to its base. And one ebony Pawn has a base crack. A few pieces with hardly noticeable dings. See pictures.
