Offering this wonderful 1938 edition of the Household Searchlight Recipe Book (cookbook), published by the Household Magazine, 1938. Black cloth hardboards with decorative floralt checkerboard impressed designs on all three sides. Ornate raised pictorial and lettering on front, raised lettering on spine. Good+++ condition, no spine cracks, mild corner bumps and spine edge rubs. Pages are good and clean, no tears or scribbles, slight age toning on tabs, one smudge in margin, two pages with rust marks on margin from old paperclip, old newspaper clipping made a shadow mark in margin on one page - these are all minor imperfections that do not affect the hundreds of delicious recipes! Previous owner signed inside front flyleaf. This book bears the old tab indexes for each catagory. A great old recipe book filled with hundreds of wonderful recipes!
