HOUSTON ASTRODOME LITHO, ASTROS RYAN CEDENOUp for auction is a black and white lithograph of The Astrodome in Houston, Texas—Former Home of the Houston Astros. This lithograph measures 16” high by 22” wide in total and is MINT condition. The actual picture of the lithograph is 13” high by 19” wide and is “framed” by gold leaf with another 1-1/2” light gray border. This lithograph would look incredible framed. Based on the fine print in the lower left corner of the print, this lithograph was produced by The Sporting News Publishing Company in 1990. This lithograph lists the seating capacity of 54,816 and first game on April 12, 1965. In the upper left corner is a small picture of Judge Roy Hofheinz, the man behind the “Eight Wonder of the World” dome where the Major Leagues’ first artificial turf appeared. In the upper right corner of the lithograph is the face of Cesar Cedeno and in the lower left corner is the face of J.R. Richards. In the lower right corner is an outside view of the stadium. The center of the lithograph shows an inside view of the stadium as if you were sitting directly behind home plate.
