You are bidding on the very rare 1982 Howard Finster Etching Portrait from the Folk Image Portfolio.The most sought after image of all of Rev. Finster's prints. This is an Artist Proof VII/X (7 of 10)This high quality print was produced by Mark Patsfall Graphics in Cincinnati OHIO in 1998.The image is from the 1982 drawing from Finsters Folk Image publication self produced by the artist.Medium is Etching Aquatint Paper Arches Buff / Paper size is 19.5" x 15"Etched Image size is 13.5" x 10.5" / Edition signed 7/14/98 From a portfolio of 50 with 10 sets of artists proofs. The plates were photo etched cooper plates which were aqua tinted and printed in black using a mixture of Faust black and Daniel Smith Standard etching Black. Documentation provided and signed by artist and printer.The print condition is mint. Never framed. Secure in a shrink wrap /non attached to foam core. Just unseal and frame.
