HOWARD FINSTER Signed Coca-Cola Lithographs These fine art prints were produced from original cut-out painting #10,715 of April 9, 1989, and each one was hand-signed in pencil by the late, great Rev. Finster at his studio in Summerville, Georgia, prior to his passing in 2001. Only 1000 of these wonderful decorator-size lithos were published, and many were sold at Paradise Garden in 1990’s. The prints offered are from the publisher's inventory. The Coke bottle image on colored background looks terrific in metal or wooden frames, without mats, and they make a lovely addition to the decor of any room. The bottle image is covered with faces, angels, old cars, a church from the "good old days of 1929" and wonderful phrases including: "Cokes would sell without any advertisement", "Some folks would stand on their head for a good cold Coke" and "Millions of church folks drink Cokes and drive home safely” The primary image is covered with "resting souls", small angels and wonderful phrases including: "Angels are never far from thee", "I seen angels" and "Angels are never asleep". Howard Finster is one of the most celebrated and most prolific outsider folk artists in American history. His works are among the permanent collections of the Smithsonian, the High Museum of Art in Atlanta and many others worldwide. All buyers may choose from read more
