Super Nice Rare Historic Collectible! ..... When Howard Hughes ran Vegas, from a famous Las Vegas Celebrity "Mr. Steve Rossi" of the Comedy Team "Allen & Rossi" we obtained this very rare treasure of a watch. Dated 1970 and only given out to invited V.I.P. guests who participated in the Celebrity Pro-Am Golf Tournament held at Howard Hughes Desert Inn Country Club. This famous annual event started way back the 1950's when Wilbur Clark was the original owner of the Desert Inn. About Hughes Nevada Operations, Howard owned the Silver Slipper, Desert Inn, Frontier, The Sands, The Landmark, The Castaways, Harolds Club Reno. His Casino Marketing Department along with Mr.Steve Rossi, recrutied many Hollywood Movies Stars to come to Las Vegas during this premiere event. Many lavish parties were thrown and they produced many personalized valuable gifts for thir Hi-Rollers and Celeb's. This 1970 Watch is made by The Hamilton Watch Company, the model is a Vantage with the box and paper instructions. The watch has been gently worn a few times and works perfectly and still looks brand new! Mens black leather band with a day-date calendar. On the watch's face are the 4 Famous Casino Hotels & thier logos ....owned by Howard Hughes .... The Landmark, The Sands, The Frontier, and The Desert Inn. ...
