This is one of the most unusual clocks I have ever seen-most people will not even realize it is a clock. Its called a World Time Clock. By setting this to your local time you can see what time it is all over the world. The clock lights up. Its also called a Geochron For Global Time Orientation. Comes with original instructions-an old order blank, a letter to a gentlemen in Mt. Clemens Michigan explaining his options. The unit is hung on a wall like a picture. It can also be set into the wall. The clock has a water color style map in Oak Yorkshire case. It is 18 inches high and 24 1/2 inches wide.Geochrons are in use around the world and can be furnished to operate on 50 cycles and 60 cycles as well as all standard voltages. Shipping date on the clock is 5 months after receipt of order. The suggested retail price in 1984 was $270.00It can set on a shelf or mount on a wall. T are directions for both included.I am guessing that this clock is from around 1984 from paperwork I received with the clock. It is by Howard Miller Model 612-371 The movement number is 354034F.
