Designed by: George Nelson Manufacturer; Howard Miller Year c.1955 Brass, walnut, enameled metal 24" dia. x 3" h For Auction is this large sculptural brass clock designed by George Nelson. Condition: This clock originally had a wind up motor which someone had removed and replaced with a battery operated motor. The hands are not original to this model as they appear to be new along with the motor. Everything else is original and in excellent condition. T does appears to be a repair /reweld to one of the spokes that is only visible from the backside, please see photo #11. This clock is rare and one could easily replace the motor with an original H/M wind-up motor. Also one could have the look of the original hands fabricated to complete the look. This is sold as is.
