HOWARD MILLER SHIP BELL CLOCK KEY WIND GERMANY BRASS WOOD CASE WORKS MANTLE EUC! For your consideration is a great maritime clock made in Germany by the Howard Miller Company that is a key wind manual clock with mechanical brass movement with brass and swing door glass case in a beautiful walnut ? mantle clock case. It comes complete with the winding key included as well. It measures 15 1/2 inches long by 9 1/2 inches tall by 5 inches deep. It weighs 5 1/2 pounds by itself without any packing materials. The brass casing alone outside of its wood case weighs over 2 1/4 pounds by itself, and it measures about 3 inches in depth. I believe it has 11 jewels movement and it runs and keeps time perfectly and the bells gong or clang every half hour in a moderately loud tone. I don't know if the bells or chimes are properly calibrated to the hour, but I'm sure you can look it up online as to how to adjust it to the proper cycle. Sometimes there is a long pause in between the next bell clang, but I believe it was designed with this feature being a ships bell clock with certain meanings to the bells and the lengths of pauses in between. It has a beautiful brushed metal face and the numerals also have the military time hours printed alongside each clock face numeral. The wood cabinet case is in mint condition with no chips, cracks, or breaks read more
