HOWARD PIERCE BALLET PORCELAIN PAIR OF FIGURINES RARE! You are viewing a fabulous rare pair of Eames era ballet porcelain figurines designed by California pottery extraordinaire, Howard Pierce. This pair of dancers will stand out in any room. Don't miss out on a chance to own one of last century's most creative talents. The ceramic figurines are in excellent mint shape with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs of any kind. They are both signed underneath with the black ink stamp "HOWARD PIERCE". The female ballerina measures about 6.5" high (16.5cm) and the male dancer measures 7" long (17.8cm). Both have Howard Pierce's black satin-matte glaze. The pair are pictured on page 121 in Darlene Hurst Dommel's Collector's Encyclopedia of Howard Pierce Porcelain and the male ballet figurine is pictured on page 82.Please ask any additional questions prior to bidding.
