VINTAGE HOWARD PIERCE BIRD Vintage Howard Pierce Bird Blue Bird with black eyes and beak Stamped on the bottom "HOWARD PIERCE" Embossed on the bottom in the mold: "Z-Z1" Very nice condition. No chips or cracks. Howard Pierce Ceramics was located in Claremont, California, from 1941 to around 1961 when they moved to Joshua Tree, Calif. During the 1950's Howard Pierce's distinctively styled sculptures were sold in the finest gift shops and department stores in the country. Payment must be made within 5 days of close of sale.
