FANTASTIC PAIR HOWARD PIERCE MID MODERN POTTERY ESKIMO MAN/WOMAN These wonderful figures came from a wonderful family estate auction held outside of Ann Arbor. Owners loved all things Mid-Century, Retro, Mid-Modern...whichever you prefer. These Howard Pierce pieces are from their collection. Condition is outstanding. Glaze is dark and richly toned. Love the detailed and expressive faces. Superb. T are no unwarranted marks or chips that I can detect, and know the owners took great pride in caring for their entire collection. This group is no exception. Approx Measurements Eskimo Man 7 1/4" Eskimo Woman 6 1/4" Total Weight 1.04lbs appropriately marked Howard Pierce Think these figurals are marvelous and a bit rarer to find in this condition than one might suspect. They are a bit different than the traditional Howard Pierce animal motif of figurines. If you are a collector of Mid Modern.
