You are bidding on a very cool, very clean, freshly customized, ready to run HPI Savage X. It is currently setup to be rear wheel drive for drifting around parking lots but the front drive shaft and differential are in there and the 2 axles are included so it can be made 4WD easily. It comes with fully functional JR Racing digital FM radio system with a fail-safe unit, digital voltage meter and glitch buster. Also included is the set of original savage X wheels (chrome is chipping) and a pair of Panther slicks on T-Maxx wheels for burn outs (slicks need to be re-glued). Also included is roto start shaft, re-chargeable glow plug igniter, smaller wheel hexes and nuts to use the other wheels, and the original front axles. Just add fuel, tune and AA batteries for transmitter and receiver. The rolling chassis, beater body and offroad wheels are from a Savage X. The engine is a Team Associated, 2 speed-single brake transmission is from a Savage 25 and body is from a savage X. The wheels are RPM Monster Claws (wide offset) which have been media blasted and painted black. The tires are Imex Road Dawgs glued w foam inserts, and have tons of tread left. The front/ rear bumpers and skid plates are brand new. The extra truck body is in fair condition w the normal scuffs and dents from use. The Chevelle muscle car body is new never ran and is custom painted with chrome flames and bumpers splitting a two-tone paint job. Blue metallic on top and jet black on the bottom. The dual racing stripes are pearl white that shimmers blue and has a light shadow on the edges. The shock springs, fuel filter, engine head, under body lighting and zip ties are all blue. The suspension is slammed (strapped w blue zip ties) and a brand new front and rear sway bar kit is installed. The wheely bar is modified to keep the front wheels down. The chassis plates, engine plate, lower pin braces and skid plate bulkheads are all blacked out. The bumper mounted chrome white LED headlights are new, custom installed from a rock crawler kit. The under body blue LED lights are waterproof/ shockproof and are mounted to a custom made metal bracket that runs across the bottom of the truck, but above the skid plates. The wiring for all the lights has been done very cleanly and runs off a 9V battery which sits under the gas tank next to the engine and has an easily accessed on/off switch. This truck has about 2 gallons of fuel through it and still has great compression and runs strong. It has not been run in some time, but it did not sit with nitro in it. The fuel tank is clean and has a priming pump on it and all fuel line is brand new w heat shield. All the carb settings have been returned to factory so the truck will need to be tuned to your climate and driving style. This truck has roto-start type system installed (no pullstring!) and comes with the shaft only, all you do is chuck it in any drill and spin. This truck/rod is sick and would make an awesome display, but has the goods to be useable and tear up the pavement! It is ready to run, just add fuel and NIMH glow plug charger (glow plug igniter will come fully charged with a huge 4200mah battery). It will need a tune and possible servo and linkage adjustments as I have not driven the truck since the reconditioning process. View demo video below (turn speakers up).
