This is a great Hard To Find Vintage AFL Football Bobblehead of the New York Titans. It is from the 1961-1962 AFL Round Base/ Toes Up Series. As you can see there is some damage to the doll. There is a chip in the shoulder, see pic 7, and a chip on the underside of the base, see pic 6. There is normal wear around the base of the head, see pic. 9. It does need a good cleaning, but all in all it is in nice shape. It still has the original metal wire facemask, has both decals, Titans on the chest and New York on the base. It also has the sticker on the bottom that says "By The American Football League Japan". This series of Bobbleheads is nearly impossible to find and this one as well as the Dallas Texans, are the rarest! The New York Titans actually were playing at the POLO Grounds when this doll was manufactured! Again it is very difficult to find any of these dolls and this one especially! If you have any questions or need more photos please email me. ! This is the only Original New York Titan Bobblehead Doll they made in the 1960's and they do not come up often! I will add insurance to the final cost of shipping. We want to protect this great DOLL!
