This is a lovely REJA sterling vermeil Turtle Demi Parure. These Reja figurals are getting harder and harder to find, especially in sets! This offering consists of a lovely turtle pin (marked Reja Sterling on the back---too small for me to photo). It has a blue eye, as does the matching earrings. The earrings are only marked sterling on the screw backs, but are clearly part of the set. The funny thing is if you look closely it almost appears to me that the turtles are smiling! They are all so darling! The clear rhinestones are set down into the pieces and show gorgeously with their color. The weight or heft of these pieces speak of the true vintage quality of these sterling silver pieces. They are truly substantial in that manner! These items are in excellent vintage condition showing little wear. The one earring is missing three small rhinestones around its neck (in the place w a collar would be). They would be easily replaced. The brooch measures 2.5 inches from the very tip of the tail across to the tip of the nose, and it is about 1.5 inches at its widest point from top of shell to tip of toe. The earrings are 1 3/8" from tip to tip. T is some patina on these items. I have not and will not polish them. To me making them look brand new defeats the entire purpose. I'll leave that to the discretion of the buyer...A wonderful addition
