Lovely porcelain or pottery Scottie Dog figurine from Goebel, W. Germany. The figurine is marked with the company name and mark on a back leg. T is also an impressed number on the leg that is hard to make out: 30-04--. T is a small impressed number 24 on the bottom of one front foot. The figurine is beautifully made and fully captures the look and personality of the breed - the eager stance, perky tail, large head, and soulful gaze. The white dog is accented with light grayish blue which adds a look of depth. The black nose and eyes stand out well. The dog is about 4-¾" from outer muzzle to outermost back leg. It is 3-¾" high to the tip of the ears. The figurine is in good, clean sturdy condition. T is an occasional teeny superficial soil speck, really minor. T are no chips, cracks or flakes.
