From a local estate, take a look at this offering!! HARD & SOMEWHAT RARE WHITING STERLING ARABESQUE PATTERN SUGAR SPOON! From Whiting, this gorgeous sterling sugar spoon is rendered in the Arabesque pattern, dating from 1875. The spoon still has a very light parcel gilt wash. Also, don't miss the wonderful bowl with its scalloping. The sterling sugar spoon is marked as follows: 15; Geary & Weale; pat. 1875; sterling and the Whiting hallmark. It is monogrammed R on the front. In good to very good condition (t might be a very small ding at the tip of the spoon's bowl), this sterling sugar spoon measures about 6 1/4 inches long.
