You are looking at an a ll original signed Bradley and Hubbard Patâe(tm)d Oct 31 1876 and April 24 1877 very ornate framed gas or oil lamp with original black paint I think. This is an awesome estate find and has a very sold Cast Iron Frame. This is signed (see last photo which might have blurred that is stamped Pat'd Oct 31, 1876 and April 24, 1877. It is signed Hubbard and Bradley. This has the original hard to find shade. The shad is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. The original oil lamp is frosted with stars in circles; Shade is 14 in. wide hangs 26 to 30 in. The Frame is perfect with no damage, no repairs, Font is perfect other than hole drilled in top of collar w it was wired years ago, they did not hurt the font. Has original ornate canopy, missing only the smoke bell, excellent old Victorian period hanging lamp. Lamp will probably have to be shipped in two separate boxes; shade will have to be double boxed with font, cast iron frame shipped in another box. I have not hung this light and it is photo'd in my hand. Check out the very, very ornated cast iron work on the crown. I have included a similiar photo from a google'd website, just to show how this chain combination can be adjusted. T are pulleys at the top crown piece that allows the chains to move.
