This is one of a collection of NEWLY IMPORTED german hand made Hubertus knifes. Exceptional craftsmanship, each one is unique and hand assembled. A true collectors item. Hubertus has been making Europes finest knives for 120 years. If you are a collector or know one and you would like to add a very special item to your collection, this is it.The Stag is outstanding, the fine German Carbon Stainless Steel is polished to a mirror finish, The Nickle-silver Bolsters are great as are the Brass liners and the craftmanship is uniquely German with the precision to detail.For your information, Hubertus is a Catholic Saint, from around 700AD (657-750+-)and is considered the Patron Saint of the Hunter and the medalsmith. This new slimline Hubertus just arrived and man is this knife nice! It fits perfectly in the hand. As usual, the Stag handle is superb . These are fine pocket knives made with old world pride and craftsmanship. Their knives are unique into themselves. This small factory doesn't change for the sake of change, and they have been turning out quality knives since 1889. Much of the work is done by craftsmen who perform the work outside the factory in their own homes. They return the completed knives and pick up more pieces to assemble by hand.
