Hello, I am Ellen Perantoni, a painter listed in AskArt and with paintings in museum and other major collections. This is one of my recent works. As you can see, that uniquely American school of art is my main inspiration. I live and paint in the mid-Hudson Valley of New York State about 2 hrs. north of the NYC metro area, in the heart of Hudson River School country. If you wish to see the work before purchase I will show it by appointment at my Hudson Valley studio. It's a few hours, or less from most points in New York State, New England, NJ and PA. This is a view of the silhouettes of lush trees in the Hudson Valley, at sunset. This work has a depth and liveliness that does not show up in digital dot-matrix photos. It is executed on 5x7" canvas board panel , and framed in a museum quality heavy carved frame that brings the size to about 11-1/2" x13-1/2" on the wall.
