One more plane for auction is a very rare and I mean rare model in 1/100 scale of a half Braniff and half British Airways concorde model. Braniff was the only United States airline to fly the concord and did it on a marketing share with British Airways. Braniff crews flew it from Dallas to New York I believe then British crews took over and flew it to the United Kingdom. This is only a couple of promotional models that were ever made back in the 70's that were half BA and half braniff. I got this one off e-bay a few months back with the hope of fully restoring it. It has no windows on the braniff side, and could use a good cleaning. T is a little tape residue on the BA side on the wing that could come off with a little steel wool. Over all these years the clear coat has started to yellow a bit. I began to clean off the yellowing and got the underside done but quit t The decals are in good shape just some small chips missing. The only thing that is majorly wrong is that one of the exhaust cones is missing, the one on the braniff side. If you are good at making moulds you can make a new one from the remaining exhaust cone. Not real sure why the braniff side has no widows. The stand in the picture is not the original. It kind of works as you can see in the pic. The screw pattern on the stand is too small for the hole in the plane. It works as long as you screw the stand in at just the right angle. I can get it to work, as it is standing on it in both pictures, just wanted to mention that also. Again this model is near impossible to find, when I got it, it was the last time I saw one on e-bay. I have too many planes and need to thin the collection out. Not sure if this is a space model, or westway or anyone like that. It is on par with their quality. I have began to focus on Pacmin and atlantic which is another reason why I am selling it. Check out my other auctions and I do ship internationally just e-mail me for a quote.
