A very large apothecary /candy jar from 1902 in very good condition, these were used in candy stores, soda fountains and Drug Stores. The lid is the right size but does wobble a bit, I believe it is missing a rubber seal around the inside. It is an octagon shape and on one panel it is marked "Aunt Jane's Candy Treats",one panel it says PURE, the 3rd. says FRESH, the 4th says True Measure 20 Quarts.....Wilson Grove, Kansas....1902. 2 panels are blank. The base says "Crownford Giftware Corp. Jar. It measure 16 3/4" tall. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs, t are many bubbles and a strawmark on the top of the base.
