Up for your bidding pleasure today we have a FABULOUS Antique French Bronze Mantle Case Clock from the mid to late 1800s. Crafted of metal with a bronze patina, this lovely French clock has a porcelain face with a thick glass beveled bezel.The top urn is hand painted porcelain with two sea serpents flanking either side. notice the dial is also porcelain and hand painted as well. Below you will find two more porcelain plaques each hand painted of a courting couple. notice their are two protecting griffins standing watch either side as well. This French clock dates to the mid / late 1800's and stands an impressive 22 inches tall. It is complete and working both the time & strike side. key & pendulum are both included.Such an exquisite and intricately decorated clock, it is sure to be the envy of all your guests and the star of your collection!
