Up for auction is a large felt patch. This estate find came from a WWII officer who served with the Army Air Corps. He graduated from VPI around 1934. This large felt patch measures 14.5 inches in diameter and is in very good to excellent condition. The orange felt color is raised off of the felt burgundy background. There are no holes and its color is vibrant. The burgundy backside has two small old glue spots and there are some areas where bugs have eaten a minimal layer on the surface, however, these areas DO NOT go through to create holes. The last picture shown has the patch laying on the back of a Levis jacket. The jacket (not included) is a size 44R and the patch is on top to give you a perspective of its large size.
