Up for Auction is a big and beautiful 120 Piece 1960s Gorham Sterling Silver Flatware Set in the Premier 1895 Pattern, Chantilly, with Nakens Chest. Every utensil in this original service is guaranteed to be genuine, heavy gauge, mid-century vintage Gorham Chantilly Sterling Silver. The pieces in this set are all in excellent condition, bright and shiny, displaying no damage, dings or dents, no monograms or removals. The fruit knives display minimal oxidation limited to the cutting edge only which should disappear with the first sharpening. We are leaving that job to the high bidder as it will be the first non-factory sharpening the pieces receive. The entire set has been professionally wet polished by hand and the photos below are completely representative of the entire set's gleaming condition. Due special consideration is the quality and condition of this large original service which contains a generous array of setting utensils including the largest Knives and Forks that Gorham manufactured in this pattern, rarish Oval Place/Dessert/Soup Spoons and very rare Gerber Bladed Fruit Knives.
