32” Gorgeous KESTNER 146 Antique CHILD doll circa 1890

She is GUARANTEED to be free of Hairlines, Cracks, Chips, or Restoration to the head. She is GUARANTEED to be made by Kestner in Germany circa 1890 to 1900.

is a really pretty Kestner 146 antique child in the most Huge 32" size with gorgeous original pale blue sleep eyes intact plaster pate.

Bisque socket head on a fully jointed composition and wood body. Beautiful watery light blue sleep eyes with painted upper and lower lashes, multi-stroke shiny brows, open mouth with four upper teeth, dimpled chin, lovely French human hair dark blond wig with banana curls.

Dressed in a very lovely antique white cotton dress with tiny black polka-dots and lace trim, two layers of original antique cotton underwear, white knit socks and black patent leather shoes very nice black straw hat with pink cloth flowers, pretty gold tone heart pendant.

CONDITION : Excellent. Lovely smooth and pale bisque with expert painting of features, very crisp modeling, pleasant color, gorgeous light blue eyes, wondrous expression. T are some wig pulls high on the left crown rim. The earlier body is repainted and shows wear and cracking by the joints . This is a beautiful Kestner child with renowned Kestner quality craftsmanship! A fine example of the popular 146 model, so attractive in this larger size. She would be a fine addition to any collection!!
