Breath Taking. Amazing. Words CANNOT Describe This IMMENSE & DREAM MADE REAL of an AMETHYST LAMP, Boasting the LARGEST & DEEPEST TERMINATIONS WE HAVE SEEN on a Lamp ALL YEAR!! Weighing OVER SIX POUNDS & OVER HALF A FOOT TALL ! ~NO RESERVE~ I am nearly blown away by this powerfully beautiful Amethyst Lamp, mostly by the overall presence and those INCREDIBLY LARGE terminations so gemmy & rich purple, but then the growth catches me, the mesmerizing way those huge points cascade and merge, flecked with CACOXENITE down their exposed & glassy sides. To see the elongated shafts of these points is another mind blower, how often do you see THAT?! Truly a once in a lifetime Amethyst cluster, nearly flawless but for two chipped points at the flat base area, the two bottom-most points, so very much overpowered by the towering purple angels above & surrounding them! The largest term is topmost, with measurements at 3" long and 2" across!! I cannot get over this lamp!! She is sure to make someone VERY pleased upon arrival. Swirling gemmy interiors are quite clear and flowing with veils and mirrors. The base of this amazing Amethyst Geode has been subtley drilled with a 1.25 inch round opening from the bottom and up into the center, allowing a night light (included in auction, along with long white cord with on/off switch) to light her up from inside. You certainly need not have her lit to enjoy those amazingly large, gemmy terminations. The light inside the brilliant purple crystals creates an exotic and enchanting glow, perfect to leave on at night for blissful ambience. T are a few small dents on the top row of terminations and the rest are clean and glistening just as richly as those top wonders. And we offer this once in a lifetime find at NO RESERVE !!
