WW II Chelsea US Navy bulkead ships clock in fine condition. Paint splatters on case from painting the ship without taking the clock down. Movement serial # is 327696 which dates the clock to exactly September 12, 1942. Jeweled movement has been recently serviced by a master clock-smith and keeps precise time. 8 inch brass painted dial is in excellent condition with only minor scratches near the fast/slow regulator wheel. Case measures 11 inches across and 3 inches deep. Rubber gasket on case intact and soft. Comes with a brass engraved Chelsea winding key. Offered with No Reserve, High bidder takes it home.
