HUGE ANTIQUE YELLOWARE BATTER BOWL - GORGEOUS WITH SPOUT Spring is here and it's time for me to clean house! I've held onto this yellow ware bowl and a collection of others for quite some time but now I need room for a new collection and these lovely bowls have got to go - my loss - your gain!!! This auction is for the gargantuan large hard to find spouted yelloware bowl. Whether you collect yelloware or not, you will LOVE this bowl! It makes a gorgeous centerpiece in ANY country, vintage or even contemporary kitchen! Really gorgeous and I do hate to part with it! This bowl measures a whopping 17.5" in diameter and 7" tall. It features what I think is the early Westward Ho pattern and features a 7" rolled rim base diameter. A really nice example, hand thrown with that slight uneven rolled edge you would expect. Of course given it's age there is a slight chip to the rim, about one inch total, and a couple tight hairline cracks to the side but other than the usual glaze pops here and there the bowl is VERY sturdy in wonderful condition and ready to grace your lovely home. It bares the most gorgeous mustard hue that will pop on any piece of furniture for certain! This bowl is 100% antique and authentic and original and bares it's original characteristics - a lovely example of the craft. You will without doubt definitely adore this
