OUTSTANDING figural centerpiece from a local estate. Highly unusual and rare, classic art nouveau design circa 1920's, it is just beautiful. In excellent condition, the piece appears to be free of cracks, chips. T is some slight staining inside the bowl. The feet on the top figure appears to have had a professional restoration. This is not a re-glue job but a paid professional repair. It is not noticeable as it is a fine repair and one must look twice to find it, but the feet of the two figures are not identical or matching. Please see last photo of the repair. The repair is on the backside of the first maiden sittiing on top of the bowl. It is a very large size standing about 16 1/2" high and is 12" across, and 8" deep. Superb flowing design of two nymphs, one you won't see often and in a soft mossy green color accented with a brown antiquing stain. Unmarked but appears to have the numbers 10430 incised on the bottom. Unbelieveable, you'll love it. No reserve!! Accepting VISA/M/C by phone. Checks or MO's. Payment must be recieved within 7 days after close of auction. Shipping $35 with insurance. Winner will be contacted by email at close of aution.
