I am finally letting go of my HUGE and VERY authentic indian bowl, pot. I have enjoyed this wonderful piece in my collection for at least a decade and now it's time for another collector to cherish as much as I have. This was aquired from a very respectable and trustworthy pottery dealer/collector . There is NO restoration on this piece, nor are there any ground pressure cracks found. Big pieces like this that are 100 % intact are very difficult to find. This pot shows shell temper through out. Although have I never felt the need to have it authenticated,...I am 100% CERTAIN that it is ANCIENT ,..just as I am certain that the sun will rise tomorrow,.. it WILL paper with any of the leading authenticators. I will stand behind this piece for a lifetime. I am uncertain of it's origin ....some experts that I have showed this massive bowl claim it is Anasazi,..yet others claim Quapaw. Nonetheless, it is very ancient real and from North America.....and most importantly it displays VERY RICHLY !! What a great Christmas gift for yourself this will make, as well as an INVESTMENT ~ In the very near future I will be selling a few more Anasazi pots ...so keep me saved in your favorites.
