Vintage, classic, French Shabby Chic and the design is named Design Sheffield. This is one of my pillows from my shabby chic collection. Many of you have seen them at my shows and fell in love with them. They took the South Miami Beach market by storm. And many asked why I never have any pillows in my Ebay Store. Well... I always sold out so quick at the shows that I never had any left!! So I created these fabulous treasures for my Ebay customers and regulars who have come to love and collect them. I am using only my most collectible fabrics! These pillows are guaranteed to be more of an asset to you room, than most likely a piece of grand antique furniture that cost thousands of dollars. The reason is simple, in this 20x20 pillow, you are getting a fabulously collectible and practically non existent fabric, one of the best from the period and one of the most sought after. A icey, crisp linen gray with enduring pink and yellow roses, lavender tulips and fresh picked garden flowers, embraced by a classic french scroll in taupes and cream. Just an exquisite piece of art. This smooth textured barkcloth has a European grace and charm, extremely shabby and absolutely a real stunner whether as a accent on a chair or used as your functional reading pillow on a wicker chaise or sofa. As classic and more reserved that this pillow is, it has a sweetness not to be found in most other pillows, due to its wonderful "look". I have used a very pale pink matlesse for the piping and reverse side with a hidden zipper for easy removal of your washable pillow. I hope my pictures on my front porch do it justice, but if you need more just email, I have plenty. Pillow textile art, a captivating way to draw the eye probably before anything else in the room. I have these pillows displayed all through my house and it is the first thing guests notice. They are drawn to them to sit down and "pet" the pillows :-) I design what I love. So while the pillow cover itself measures 2ox2o, I have used a 22x22 GOOSE DOWN soft insert for that extra luxury and for a more pampered customer. So you can expect a pillow that is soft, not so puffy and you will melty into it when you use it! I guarantee all of my fabrics and pillows and if for any reason you are not 100% satisfied, you can return it for a full refund. I have washed all of the vintage barkcloth materials that went into making this pillow, so it will arrive clean and ready to be cuddled while you watch your TV line up! Immaculate. This type of textile art is known as "Deconstruction" and "Reconstruction", basically taking old drapes, remnants and original never used vintage fabrics and making new pillows from them. So while all the fabrics used in my designs are from the 1940's, the design of the pillow is newly designed and created by me. I have had my pillows, bags and framed vintage fabrics at galleries displayed as works of art.
