Description I recently aquired some of the contents from a local farm estate up is the southern NH area. I will be listing several of these items as I uncover them. They have been in an old barn and shed for many years and I will be offering them in t original untouched condition. In this auction I have one of the many barn lanterns I found in boxes in the shed ! It appears to be in good condition. I was unable to turn the wick handle freely although t was movement I didnt force, t is no a wick , cap is present and turns freely and the lever that raises the globe operates freely. The heavy thick red glass globe is undamaged and reads DIETZ D LITE NEW YORK USA one side the other side reads, LOC-NOB PAT D 12 4 20. Base reads NO 2 D-LITE and other side reads DIETZ NEW YORK USA . A little surface rust but no holes or other unusual damage. This lantern wich is one of the biggest I found measures 15 inches tall. Please see photos for better description.
