Imagine a time when people took pride in crafting objects. Even tools, utilitarian and pragmatic, had a simple mystique about them. When you look at this arts and crafts era piece it's not hard to image Cobden-Sanderson, Sarah Prideaux, and Katherine Adams toiling away at the workbench! This die is fabulous and very large measuring 8.5" x 6". It is solid and quite heavy. You will need a large press -to get the pressure needed for leather work. This die is a knockout when used on cloth. The resulting impressions are so authentic. The design features delicate flowers, gently cascading down the plate. Playful leaves dance around the edges just inside two bordering lines. T is some oxidization but the plate is in fine condition over all. T is no reserve for this one and shipping is free to bidders in the USA. International buyers must pay for shipping and insurance. Thanks for looking and good luck to you all.
