This is a huge lot of old buttons, that I have had for years. I do not know much about buttons, but I do know that these are old, and unique. Some are older than others, including one that I believe is from the civil war. It is the one with the wire fastener coming out of it. On the back, it says made in England. The following are included in this lot, but not limited to: *Bakelite, *Glass, *Mother-of-Pearl, *Embossed, *Wood, *Plastic, *Lucite, * Ceramic, *Black Jet Glass, *Enamel, *Brass, *Rhinestone, *Carved *Milk Glass *plus many more......... These range in size from 1/2" to 2&1/4" wide. The little brown buttons with a colored "scarf" around it's neck look like little sun hats. (pic#2) These are made out of wood, and are really cute. T are also a set of six white milk glass ones, with gold colored pianos on them in a raised design. (pic#6) The are a set of 18 clear cut glass buttons, that are really classy looking, with two different sizes of the same elegant cut.(pic#*) Also included are numerous jet black glass buttons, including the beautiful carved ones in pic#10. T is so many, that I cannot possibly described each one. I tried to take good close-up pics, but I am not an expert photographer. All that you see in the pics are included in this lot. What you see, is exactly what you will get, plus quite a few that aren't pictured. All are in extremely good condition, and all are usable still. I have a huge button collection, that I have had ever since I inherited it from my Grandmother years ago. I will be listing more buttons really soon, including more lots, as well as a couple more single buttons that I thought were very unusual.
