From my own collection, I am so thrilled to offer this truly STUNNING Antique 12k Rose Gold Shell bangle.... that is encrusted with five LARGE Emerald Art Glass Stones .. you will not be disappointed with this beautiful bangle.... This is in lovely antique condition and it is one of a pair, and I have the other one and may list it in future weeks. ..this is a TRUE ROSE GOLD color.. that deep pink that I have so many requests for. ! It is 3/4" WIDE in width ... ..and weighs a WHOPPING 60 grams ! It is becoming increasingly harder to find these bangles in this weight and width.. and they really are one of my favourite bangle designs.. they look so sumptous on the wrist.. Any dark colors appearing on the bangle photos are only reflection due to its high shine... the photos appear brassy in color but it is antique TRUE ROSE GOLD color.. Please take time to view all the photos to see the absolute beauty of this piece. HISTORY This is Circa 1930 by design and styling . It is not stamped but the outer surface tests positive for a minimum of 14 karat and it is Rose Gold Shell.. .. stunning ! Rose Gold Shell is a solid outer layer of solid gold over an underlying metal core for strength and rigidity. It is beautifully carved around the entire outer surface with what looks like a stylised tulip stem and the stones are the flowers.. these repousse stems are in yellow gold color and are a fabulous contrast to the deep rose gold . .. The inside and outside are smooth and shiny.. and this is of a HIGH QUALITY construction ! DESCRIPTION & SIZING It is an antique TRUE ROSE GOLD color .. and the tulip stem trim is contrasting yellow gold color.. that lovely buttery hue.. ... . This is a substantial piece and is fabulous for every day wear . The tulip style deco flower designs hold HUGE Emerald color Art Glass stones. .. they may be real stones of some sort, but I am unsure so am listing as art glass. They look like the Jelly Belly stones. The push button clasp is an old push button closure and it closes beautifully with a crisp snap...it also has a gold extender piece for added security. The exterior has no dings or dents due to its solid construction...It is a semi tubular style and 3/4" in width ! It measures 7 1/4" inside and is a gorgeous piece. It measures 3/4" in width.. This would fit an average wrist size.. It weighs a WHOPPING 60 GRAMS which further adds to its appeal. ! These are just STUNNING pieces.. they look glamorous and elegant ..and look as good with jeans or evening wear.. THis is a MUST for the bangle collector who is looking for a unique and heavy rose gold piece to wear everyday ..and this one can sustain some rough treatment..as my other one does ! The photos look brassy in color but please check my feedback so that you may feel confident bidding with me , as i receive a lot of comments that the items are much prettier in person. It is so shiny it was so hard to photograph due to the reflections. The only small fault I can find is that t is a small shallow depression on the inside only,. not visible when being worn.. and while it closes with a crisp snap the little push button you use to open it with has come away and you have to pop the lock.. a very easy procedure.. a hair pin or a clip will do it... and takes seconds .. .. .. and apart from that it is in LOVELY antique conditiion. ! Please note that while I do try to describe the items to the very best of my ability, all my items are either antique or vintage , so tfore are not brand new.
